How I wish I were a Penangite now!
According to today's news, newly appointed chief minister of Penang waived all summons!! Surely one can't deny the change that the newly formed government is bringing in. :) As for the non-Malays, the pro-Malays policy is abolished! Can you imagine that? We have been so used to the policy that I believe it'll take some time for it to settle into our system. Surely this is all for the better. Still there's much to solve such as traffic jams, the environment, dirty rivers, and flooding. May we continue to pray for Penang.
In Perak, the names of three candidates to become Mentri Besar – state DAP chief Ngeh Koo Ham, state PKR treasurer Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi and state PAS secretary Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin. DAP has won the most seats, yet Ngeh being a Chinese and non-Muslim, will find if difficult as the state constitution requires the Mentri Besar to be a Malay and a Muslim.

In Selangor, while the new coalition government has endorsed PKR secretary-general Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as Mentri Besar-designate, yet there seems to be a tussle for the post of Deputy Mentri Besar, among them Ean Yong Hian Wah, Ronnie Liu and Teresa Kok, all from the DAP party.
