SUPER sunday!

What a great Easter day in sports! Both my favorite teams in red experienced victory!

It started off with the Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang. We came back from Seremban just in time to see them flag off. As I missed the qualifying yesterday, I was glad to see both Ferraris in the front grid. We led from the start of the race til the end. It could have been a nice one-two finish only for Massa to spin off under no pressure while running in second place just after the halfway mark. So now Raikkonen is 3 points behind Hamilton while the constructors standings are leaders McLaren-Mercedes with 24 points, BMW with 19 points, while Ferrari are in 3rd place with 11 points. If only Massa could finish his races.

Then its was time for football. We went to McDonalds to watch, only to find that it was very crowded with no place to sit. As a true Manchester United fan, I stood and watched the opening 15 minutes. :) We soon took the lead through Brown and to our delight, Mascherano got himself sent off. There was pretty much no way of coming back with 10 men against the mighty Manchester United being a goal down. There could have been a greater scoreline if it wasn't for the misfiring strikers and lucky goalkeeping by Reina who had a terrible game.

The other game that saw Arsenal going to Stamford Bridge ended in a result that favored Manchester United. Because of the heavy rain, we were stuck in McDonalds so I watched Chelsea dominate much of the 1st half. Arsenal then took the lead only for Drogba to score a brace later to win the match. I personally don't like Drobga but we have him to thank for. Now with 7 matches left to play for, Chelsea are trailing by 5 points with Arsenal a further point behind. Let's hope Manchester United will maintain their form!
