sushi AGAIN

It was the last day of the promotion and I happen to be at MidValley after teaching my students. Both Sushi Kings, 3rd floor and lower ground floor, had a very long queue. Thank God I was eating alone as I could sit anywhere so I just lined up for a few minutes. There was a couple that was in front of me in the queue, still waiting in line after I finished my dinner (a full 45 minutes!).

I just took 'purple' plates as they normally cost the most (RM6). And of course I just took Unagi (grilled eel) and Ebi Fry (deep fried prawn).

Everybody there was 'fighting' for sushi, just the expensive ones though. I was dining at Sushi King in lower ground, and those who've been there before would know that there's a part of the Kaiten Belt where no customers can assess, meaning that there's a 'starting point' where they can (confused?). I was sitting near that but there was this couple (I just had to take their photo, mouths full, waiting to 'pounce'), seated on my left-hand-side, halfway through the meal, switched to my other side just to gain a '1 man advantage'. There was even more just standing there and waiting. Talk about courtesy and manners. Hard to find it nowadays? But fear not, I found a young guy who cared enough to get a blind man a taxi when I was at the Bandar Tasik Selatan station. Our world still has hope! :)
