We all agree King Solomon is the wisest person to ever live on the face of the earth, so his words are definitely worth listening.
Today's reading got me to look around and find how many things tells us the time around me. I don't have a wristwatch but I've got a alarm clock, my handphone, Silvia's Tamagotchi, Astro decoder, this laptop that I'm using, train stations, and there's even a blog that states the time using pictures (www.humanclock.com)!
I've been posed a question by my mother 2 nights ago through our conversation after she got to know that I'm only working 3 days a week! Been spending lots of time on CSI as I got 2 seasons from my student. Very addictive!
Well, she basically lectured me on how I'm preparing my future, not to live for the present only (I guess she figured I'm content with the little I'm earning). I've been really wanting to get more jobs but been giving myself the excuse of not owning a car so that makes traveling difficult. Good news for non-car owners, the petrol hike is almost 50%, from RM1.92 per liter to RM2.70! This is crazy but indeed I'd rather a third of the government budget spent on education and healthcare than petrol subsidy (I don't own a car yet, that's why).
What on earth am I here for? It's about time the seek God for answers again. As my mother quoted before hanging up 'save 1 more soul'.
