There seems to be alot of news surrounding those who are against the government, with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Raja Petra Kamarudin in particular.
I've even heard the words about some people plotting to get them killed. Do you really think that the government would ever stoop so low into doing that? As they say, dead people don't talk, but Malaysians ain't stupid right? Ever since I've moved to Kuala Lumpur, I've been more aware of the political situations here. Word passses around really fast in various means. It's really hard to differentiate between facts and gossips, rumours and the truth.
All in all, leaders are chosen to bring the country forward, to bring the stability to the society and peace to each citizen. And I personally believe that the freedom of speech and express one's self without being intimidated or feared of his/her own safety is something we can all aim for.
