GREAT music

Ever since last Saturday, I have been on this long weekend that hasn't ended yet. After quitting my full-time job, I had so much time at home! But sad to say, Silvia's laptop crashed long ago (if not I would have been playing FM09 for hours!), David's laptop's crashed too so he plays Final Fantasy on the PS2 most of the time, Towfiq on the other hand practises his cello in the room. So that leaves me the toilet and kitchen to choose from. ;) Thank goodness there's Joshua's not around (thanks for your computer!).
Anyways, I cleared out this corner besides my bed and got out my old radio + cassette player = cd player (not functioning well), took out all my cassette tapes and decided to get some more music in my head. I realised I had so much nice casettes tapes such as Avalon, Rachel Lampa, Jim Brickman (I know musicians out there are going to kill me for including this), some classical music, and even Roslan Aziz's concert - Iklhas. But my favourite one is Technicolours by Bob Somma & John Campbell. I tried to Google and Youtube his stuff but it appears that this is his only album! It's so great you got to get your hands on them!

Here's a review by Tony Cummings
Fusion jazz versions of familiar praise numbers like "Open Our Eyes" and "Glorify Thy Name". Maranatha! Music have done a similar thing before (remember John Mehler And Kenneth Nash?), but it's never been done better with top rate instrumentalists like John Patitucci, Alex Acuna and Larry Williams contributing tight rhythms and fluid solos. There's some vocals too with Alfie Silas (how many Christians caught on to her Motown album a while back?) and the gloriously soulful Tata Vega (whose duet with Rick Riso on "Oh Happy Day" is alone worth the album's purchase price). Investigate this quality item.
