10 days has past, my Chinese New Year holidays are officially over and it's back to work. My next holiday will be in March, and I'm already counting down towards that day. ;) Boy, how I love my holidays.
Here's how I spent my past 10 days.
23rd - Met lots of people on the way back. Daniel Ho at KL Sentral. Lo family at LCCT. Carolyn Lee too. Sumo at the airport in KK. There's always pleasent surprises when you fly back during Chinese New Year.
24th - Grandpa's 80th birthday. Everyone was there! Never realised I had so many cousins.
My aunties and uncles, 11 in total.
And here the latest additions to the family.
25th - Family reunion. A bit quiet on my dad's side because some of them are overseas. And it was the start of my ang pow collection! ;)
The road I always use - Jalan Damai. Church on one end, hang out place at the other. School's right in the middle that causes it's own traffic jam after school and my house is just further down. You've can't get any more convenient that this!
26th - Food poisoning! Woke up at 6am and vormited. Managed to go to church to play for the service but vormited at home later. Missed the much anticipated 'cousin camp' at Borneo Golf. No clinics were opened so ended up going to SMC. Private hospital in KK. Realised it wasn't that expensive after all.
27th - Parents drove me to the camp site. Glad to see that they all bonded and enjoyed themselves.
Here's my cool cousins.
28th - House visitation. Just the three of us - Sharon, Ken and me. It's nice to visit big houses and visualise my future house. Have to keep speaking into my future!
29th - My siblings had cell group camp while I went for Erik's wedding banquet rehearsal.
30th - Chill out at home with my psp and 'House' dvds. Went hunting for my external hard disk. Spent my ang pow money on the 320 gb, red colour casing hard disk.
31st - The big day for Erik Fung. The dinner was nice and a touching love story between to people who love God. Wonder how mine would be like? ;)
Sutera Harbour
Pretty interested in photography but I don't think I have the time. A wedding photographer should be quite expensive. Rather buy a camera now and get my brother to practice.
1st - Church service. Met Tim for the last time. :( Had beef noodles for lunch! Watched the Australian Open final at Paul's place. Federer lost. Good news is Man Utd is top of the table with a 1-0 win against Everton last night. Hoping for a goalless draw between Chelsea and Liverpool.
It has been a nice, relaxing time back here. Glad that I spent lots of time at home. Much more that any other family member. I still enjoy receiving ang pows but don't mind giving them once I'm eligible - 'it is more blessed to give than to receive'. All in all, I'm looking forward to next year's Chinese New Year.
