I spent the Easter weekend with Pathfinders at Seremban Praise Sanctuary. Its not a big church with around 100-150 people but we received great hospitality from them. I has the 'home-y' kind of family church feeling like my church back in Kota Kinabalu.
We arrived before noon and begun our setup. Our drummer was Kok Yan, a very good-looking uncle. Anson was the bassist, our 'walking-wikipedia'! Joel was playing lead guitar and here's Vincent showing of his keyboard skills. I finally got to try a 90 degrees setup on the keyboards. :D By the way, check out their cool flat screen television that they use to put up the lyrics for the singers. ;)

They served us with very good food, all home-cooked! We had chicken rice for lunch and pork stew (best meal of all) for dinner. Just by looking at it makes you drool right? And there's Anson, our 'main' photographer, having fun before dinner.

The service started precisely at 8pm. It makes me wonder why events held in big cities like Kuala Lumpur can't start on time whereby this church in a place like Seremban can be punctual for all 3 services! Such a shame. :(
Here they are having fun with some icebreakers. John was very good in his choice of icebreakers and conducting them. He brought out a simple message through the games and I think that it brought great effort to the congregation.

We enjoyed watching them play as I once heard that a person reveals his true personality when they are participating in a game. All the innocence and competitiveness.

Pastor Julian share a message with John Moi interpreting for him. Before we knew it, we were heading for supper. Uncle Anthony brought us all (except Julia and Vincent, who isn't allowed to eat supper anymore!) to Restoran Ka Ka He. And again, nice food was being served. Hokkien mee was superb!

A few of us enjoying the food. The lady besides John is his wife, Adeline. Its nice to see husbands bringing their spouses when they go out to serve. :)

We went back to church to spend the night. We slept in a meeting room and the air-con was so cold! It brings back the memories when we were younger and had camps in church and school. I had the privilege to attend to lots of camps through Boys Brigade, Concert Band and Eklektos Youth. Its good to experience that when you are younger so that you can easily adapt to living with other people while in college.
