I have been very blessed as for the past few weeks I had the chance to play with Urban Tribes. Though I was the replacement for the replacement, it was an opportunity I'd take with both hands. As a musician, we must play with other musicians in order to improve. I thank God for the chance to play with a few good ones recently. :)
Urban Tribes perform at Centro (opposite KL Sentral) every Thursday night.

Here's 2 drummers chit-chatting. Martin and Tony.

Ken doing a funny face. He's really a fun guy to be with.

On the 14th of March (White Valentine's day is it?) Shaiful from Malaysian Idol 2nd edition made a guest performance for lucky winners of some Digi contest. His songs are mostly songs that were first sung by Chinese singers but later translated into Malay. Interesting. :P

Some pictures of us performing. Our band leader is Eddy, a classical trained trumpeter yet very good in jazz playing.

And here's me playing on a Kurzweil. A bit tense?

By the way, the food here is awesome. I ordered a burger on that night, which costs around RM20. But the portion is so BIG that I never manage to finish the fries! Definately a place worth checking out. :D
