stuff of CHAMPIONS

Well, it might have been 2 days ago, but I just have to rub it in on Chelsea fans. I'll take pity on Manchester City fans as they we on the wrong end of the highest-score game of the season. (8-1 drubbing by Middlesbrough of all teams!)

Well, I believe Manchester United fans were never worried of losing the title, even after losing to Chelsea a few weeks ago. To my surprise, I think we over-estimated their abilities in expecting them to beat Bolton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge. (I'm really taking a swipe at them while I can! Haha. ) Not to mention that they're a team of bad boys as they didn't even make it to the Premier League's fair-play table. Even Arsenal was top five! A bunch of disrespecting players led by soon-to-be-axed England captain.

Here's the confident fans' and players' player of the year awards winner slotting in his 41st goal of the season from the penalty spot.

The captain (while Gary Neville was out for the whole season) and record equaling Ryan Giggs lifts up the trophy. He equaled Charlton's club-best 758 appearances and tops it off by scoring the other goal the kill off all hopes in Stamford Bridge.

Record-breaking gaffer! 10 premier league titles! And I just read that he still consistently watches his reserves and youth team. What a guy! I still remember in the beginning of the season when Rooney and Saha was injured, many pundits and critics began questioning about Fergie's decision in selling Smith and Rossi. It turns out that Smith became the biggest flop of the season according to Soccernet, and not forgetting his sent off during the 6-0 defeat in his return to the Theatre of Dreams.

With a little more than a week, I'll definitely be sitting on my couch for the Champions League final! Glory, glory, Man United!
